Management and Program Analysis
Position Overview
DOI relies on management and program analysts to analyze, evaluate, and improve critical operations, procedures, and processes that support the DOI mission. Management and program analysts tackle a wide range of responsibilities at DOI, from working on short-term special projects to evaluating and managing long-term programs. They are responsible for developing, evaluating, and revising programs to meet DOI’s goals.

Candidate Description
The ideal candidate works well with people and has a keen attention to detail. He or she enjoys doing research and is capable of evaluating critical feedback. Writing, analytical, project planning/management and automated systems skills are important. Some positions require an in-depth knowledge of particular program areas or processes.
Work Environment
Mostly indoors, in an office setting. Some outdoor field work can be necessary to ensure programs are being properly applied and followed.
